Liz Sharp is a force to be reckoned with…From Cleveland she moved to Florida in 1991. She’s multi-talented, very gifted and has been singing professionally in South Florida, New York, and Los Angeles in local clubs, Festivals, Corporate events and Voice Overs. Liz grew up with Jazz musician parents and rock star status, song writing brother. Dad Fred and Brother Todd, both extremely talented guitar Players and Mom Iris, a very gifted jazz singer. Music was always abundant in her life. Influenced at an early age by her parents tastes in Jazz music, gigging and record collecting, to her brother Todd who toured with Hall and Oates at the tender age of 19 going on to play, write and tour with many notables such as Rod Stewart, Mic Fleetwood and many more. Understandably Liz Has a broad approach to her vocal stylings because of her various influences spanning Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock, 1960’s girl bands and Pop. With Perfect Pitch like her mom, her style is steeped in a bluesy, jazzy, gutsy yet sensitive approach to singing. She has an approachable pleasant persona on stage and will leave you feeling totally entertained and delighted. Her latest project, The Boogie Woogie Gents is a sound that harkens back to The Boogie-woogie genre of blues music that became popular during the late 1920s, developed in African-American communities in the 1870s. Liz also incorporates some early Rock-n-roll, Andrews Sisters and Blues, all being very uplifting and proven to be a very danceable night of fun. With Mitch Goldstein, Cody Alen and Ezo Hernandez.
