Blues Equation is a sonic powerhouse combining the forces of Hammond organ artist Tom Regis, South Florida sax phenom Ben Sparrow, and the virtuosic Landivar brothers – Krister on drums and David on guitar. Together, the group creates a fresh and innovative sound that blends the traditional rhythm-and-blues-infused organ quartet vibe with elements of jazz, Latin, progressive, and pop. Blues Equation pushes musical boundaries while also honoring the rich legacy of the jazz organ groups rooted in the vibrant traditions of the Black church, the cultural melting pot of the Americas, and the rhythmic pulse of the Caribbean.
